Atlantic Data was first to provide access to the e−Bulk channel

Atlantic Data was the DBS' (formerly the CRB) first Registered Umbrella Body to become an eRB and to provide access to the DBS's e-Bulk channel.

Working alongside Girlguiding UK and the DBS’s e−Bulk project management team, Atlantic Data has successfully assisted Girlguiding UK to launch their new paperless Disclosure application service.

The launch of our first electronic application system represents a significant milestone for the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) (now the DBS) and demonstrates our commitment to our customers to work towards making all of our services accessible electronically.

The CRB have worked closely with Atlantic Data through the development of our new e−Bulk service to ensure that the service meets the needs of our customers. Atlantic Data are a valued customer of the CRB and I would like to thank them for their hard work and support throughout the development of the new service." − Adele Townsend − Director of Resources − CRB (now the DBS).

Director of Atlantic Data, Mark Follett said, The launch of CRB’s e−Bulk channel on 17th April 2009 signified the end of a two year project. Our developers have worked closely with CRB’s team to establish the first users of the new e−Bulk service. Girlguiding UK have been a long standing user of our DisclosuresManager service, a system that enables Registered Bodies to maintain their CRB Registration and take advantage of the CRB’s new e−Bulk channel.

Mark Follett adds, We provide services to over 40 Registered Bodies across the UK, of these five existing Registered Bodies users are about to avail the new channel through our DisclosuresManager service. Of course those organisations that are unable to meet the CRB’s criteria can still get the benefits of processing application via the e−Bulk system by using Atlantic Data’s own Umbrella Body service at - DisclosuresCRB.
